About Studio D

Founded in 2013, Studio D specialises in cross-cultural ethnographic research and have developed a number of new methodologies in widespread use in the research community today. Although we mostly conduct confidential projects for corporate clients, we also publish a few reports, articles and our monthly Radar newsletter (8k subscribers).

We've run research projects across the globe and developed a unique set of skills to essentially operate anywhere. Our project deliverables have meaningful impact at very different scales: from hundreds of thousands of rural farmers (for a social enterprise in Myanmar), to mitigating harms to billions of users (for a global app platform).

Once a year we offer a Reflecting Forward coaching fellowships, to support the career development of research, strategy and design practitioners—these are announced via our newsletter.
